Streets of Rage 4 is finally coming to iOS and Android, with a redesigned user interface, cloud saving and more

Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games have teamed up with Playdigious for a special announcement - highly anticipated beat 'em up Streets of Rage 4 will be landing on both iOS and Android devices on May 24th. The widely popular franchise is brawling its way out of PC and consoles and into mobile devices with over 2.5 million downloads under its belt.

Nominated as Best Action Games at the 2020 Game Awards, Streets of Rage 4 follows the continuing saga of Axel, Blaze, Adam and their friends with a sequel that comes 25 years after the last game in the series. Players can engage themselves in the narrative of a new crime syndicate that has taken control of the streets.

The latest instalment of the popular IP introduces new combat mechanics while retaining the old-school vibe of the hand-drawn visuals to keep that retro nostalgia alive. There are five new playable characters to unlock, as well as a variety of different game modes such as Story, Training and Arcade. Players can also enjoy a new Electro OST crafted by maestros such as Olivier Derivière and Yuzo Koshiro.
