Platform-runner Stranded - Mars ONE will have you helping out an unfortunate astronaut soon
Catch your breath
Deep Silver Fishlabs has announced a new platform-runner about an unfortunate astronaut called Stranded - Mars ONE.
This astronaut - the clutz - has crash landed on Mars and now his spaceship lies in parts all across the dusty red surface. To make matters worse, yes, his oxygen supply isn't looking to healthy.
As crappy as that situation might be, it's the perfect set-up for a old-school tough endless-platformer. Well, hopefully, that's the case.
Here's how it plays: the astronaut auto-runs across the screen, you have to tell him to jump and dodge, ensuring he collects oxygen to keep going while grabbing as many ship parts as possible.
It's all rendered in bright pixels that depict red sand dunes, caves glowing with crystals, and deathly lava pits. I guess there's a little more life on Mars than we thought.
Stranded - Mars ONE will be available as a free to play game on iOS in Q3 2015. It'll also be heading to Android once it's out on iOS.
