Tilting Point has announced that their casual cooking game, SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off, will partner with The Eleanor Crook Foundation and LifePack for World Hunger Day. During this time, players will be able to purchase two limited-time bundles, with some of the proceeds from buying them going towards combating malnutrition in Eastern Africa.

It will run from today until July 9th, and players will be able to buy the aforementioned bundles, which contain a bunch of special in-game content. Additionally, each purchase will help provide a Ready to Use Therapeutic Food packet to a child in need.

Specifically, the New Starter Bundle, which provides players 75 Gems, will feed a child for two days. Another bundle option, which nets players 100 gems and four Power-Ups, can help a child eat for a whole week. Three of these RUTF packets a day can save a child who is on the brink of death.

If you're unfamiliar with SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off, it is a casual cooking game where players will make their way through over 400 different levels, serving delicious food to the residents of Bikini Bottom. Along the way, they'll interact with well-known characters from the show, such as Mr. Krabs, Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles and Sandy Cheeks.

It has proven exceptionally successful since it first launched, having racked up 17 million players during pre-registration. In its first week, the game saw over 2.2 million daily active users, showing that SpongeBob Squarepants is as popular as ever. It is regularly updated with new levels, which, of course, always helps keeps players interested.
