Pocket Gamer Advent Calendar 2016 - Space Marshals 2

"It's still too long till Christmas!", I hear you cry. Well, there there. Pocket Gamer is here to console you in the very best of ways - with free codes for the best premium games mobile had to offer this year!

Each day from the first of December right up until Christmas Day its-elf (sorry - ed), we'll be giving away a free code daily, and across multiple platforms. To learn more, check out the original post.

Today is day six, and the selected game is the excellent wild west sci-fi shooter, Space Marshals 2.

What's this Space Marshals 2 about then?

It's essentially a western strategic shooter set in space. You play as Burton, a specialist in putting down punks, and have to do just that as tactically as possible across 20 different gorgeous levels.

Setting up your character before a mission is also part of the challenge, as there's a whole raft of weapons, equipment, and body armour to choose from. Picking the right tools for the job is essential.

And it all combines to create a damn good mobile game. At review, we gave it a thoroughly-deserved Gold Award and said: "A confident follow-up that evolves its solid foundations with new mechanics, Space Marshals 2 is a must-play entry in the shooter genre".

So how do I get it?

Well, that's the easy part. All you've got to do is join the App Army here (current members are also welcome, of course) then write your name as it appears on Facebook in the comments below - along with your preference between an iOS or Android code.

Winners will then be selected within one working day, at which point the codes will be distributed by a PM on Facebook.

We're selecting on a first-come, first-served basis, but those who've already received a code may be skipped in favour of those who haven't to ensure it's not only fair, but that everyone is in with the chance of at least one free game this Christmas!
