Platinum Award-winning kart racer Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing finally available on Google Play
It got there in the end
It's not very often we give out Platinum Awards here at Pocket Gamer.
It's probably because they're so expensive to make. Oh, and because the dwarves in the PG medal mines chunter something terrible when we tell them to delve into the deeper sections of their subterranean abode to hack out the requisite materials.
So, when a game gets a perfect score on PG, you know it's pretty special.
Like Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Sure, it might be more than two years old, but it's still a brilliant kart racer that's dripping with nostalgia.
And, after far too long a wait, Android users can now finally get their hands on Sumo Digital's perfectly polished karting game.
That's right - Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing has done a really big skid onto the Google Play Store.
When we reviewed the iOS version of the game, we said that "on almost every level imaginable Sumo Digital has surpassed all competition on iPhone, and placed Sega's much maligned mascot firmly back on the right track as a result".
You can grab Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing from the Google Play Store right this instant for just £1.60. That's a pretty good deal if you ask me.
