Dark puzzler Sometimes You Die brings its philosophical questions to Android
What is death?
Kamibox (aka Philip Stollenmayer) has released its Silver Award-winning puzzle platformer Sometimes You Die on Android.
It's a game in which you have to accept that death is, sometimes, unavoidable. In fact, it's entirely necessary in order to get through the game.
You'll be fed philosophical quips about death, the after life, and whether or not what you're playing is even a videogame at all.
It makes for a dark exploration of your own thoughts that is backed up with decent puzzle mechanics.
In reviewing the iOS version, we said that Sometimes You Die is a "dark prince among puzzle games," adding that what "it lacks in physical dimension it more than makes up for in philosophical depth."
You can purchase it for £1.29 / $1.99 on Google Play right now.
