Bandai Namco has released an official Dark Souls mobile game.

It's called Slashy Souls, and it's basically an auto-runner.

As you'd expect from a Souls game, you control an armoured warrior who must hack (and slash) their way through an unending horde of skeletons, zombies, and a big thing that looks like the Grim Reaper if he'd stopped working out and started eating TV dinners.

The game is free to download, but is only available in the US at the moment. We think that might be because it's tied to an advertising campaign with American games retailer GameStop.
