Activision has released Skylanders: Trap Team on iPad and Android tablets in the US. Woohoo, great, good for them.
Sorry, I'm just not a fan of when Europe gets left behind like this. You see, Trap Team doesn't come out in Europe until October 10th.
Why? We have no idea, which probably means the answer is because.
Anyway, AppSpy has been lucky enough to go hands-on with Trap Team and have, kindly, decided to go over it for you. You can watch that in the video above.

If you just want a quick overview, then here you go. Trap Team brings the console experience of Skylanders to tablets for the first time.

The game is free to download but that only gets you two free digital Skylanders and two instant traps.
You'll need to purchase the Tablet Starter Pack for £65 to start playing it fully. This gets you a Portal, some Skylanders figures, a detachable controller, and other less important bits.
You then connect it all up via Bluetooth and can start on your adventure of defeating villains and capturing them.
