Android version of Crossy Road follow-up Shooty Skies 'is in the works'

Mighty Games will be bringing Crossy Road follow-up Shooty Skies to Android.

The studio confirmed to an inquisitive fan on Twitter earlier today. They asked if Shooty Skies was coming to Android and replied: "An Android version is in the works."

Shooty Skies is an arcade shooter in which you play a range of cute animals flying ships through an endless torrent of enemies.

It has the blocky art style of Crossy Road and plenty of the same charm.

We gave the iOS version a Gold Award remarking that it's a "bright and explosion-filled arcade shooter that's ridiculous good fun."

We'll update you on any news of the game's Android version once we hear it. In the meantime, if you're on iOS you can download Shooty Skies on the App Store.
