There's good news for Android owners looking to get their ninja platforming fix - Shadow Blade’s made the jump to Google Play.

Reminiscent of Ninja Gaiden in all the right ways, Shadow Blade sees you jump, wall-jump, and slice your way through levels full of baddies.

You'll be tempted to dash through each level with ninja-like grace, but you'll also want to take your time to enjoy the scenery - there's some gorgeous artwork on offer here.

In our review of Shadow Blade, we called it "a slick, deliciously violent platformer" before adding that it had "more poise and touchscreen panache that most of the rest of the App Store combined".

We also said it was "the first must-have iOS platformer of 2014", and we think it’s safe to say that it’ll be the first must-have Android platformer, too.

Best yet, you can try it for free before deciding to buy the full version – so head over to Google Play and give it a whirl.
