Seraphim is an intriguing, gorgeous looking action game that might not be particularly in-depth, but features enough quick-tap action that it's worth a second look.

You play a strange looking angel made up of a series of brilliantly rendered 3D pieces. You sit in the middle of the screen, tapping on six buttons around you to fire in the corresponding directions.

Lumps of detritus dart towards you and you need to shoot them before they hit you. Some will reflect shots back at you though, so you need to think smart.

There's not much beyond the core of the game, but what's there is bright, well put together, and will keep you entertained for an hour or so.

A wonderful looking shooter, Seraphim is a little thin, but you'll enjoy what's here while it lasts

Harry used to be really good at Snake on the Nokia 5110. Apparently though, digital snake wrangling isn't a proper job, so now he writes words about games instead.
