SEGA Forever COULD be a subscription-based game service for mobile

According to several sources, it looks like SEGA might be planning to launch a new subscription service called SEGA Forever on mobile.

Though it's a little up in the air at the moment, SEGA Forever may be a type of subscription service which lets you play SEGA games without adverts - the 'Netflix' of gaming, if you will. At the very least it'll be for mobile devices, but the possibility of PC/console usage is still there.

Across NeoGAF, SEGANerds, and an informative YouTube discussion by RGT 85 (above), the subscription service has certainly caused a stir in the community. Some believe it to be a brilliant idea, whilst others aren't so charmed by it.

SEGA Forever has yet to be officially confirmed, but several unused social media profiles under the same name (Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit) have already been created.

We don't know when or if the service will be confirmed, but let's hope that SEGA might give us a little more coming E3 next month.
