Scott Whiskers in: the Search for Mr. Fumbleclaw lets you take on the noble search for a missing cat in a point-and-click adventure

Axel Friedrich from Fancy Factory has officially announced his upcoming game titled Scott Whiskers in: the Search for Mr. Fumbleclaw, the one-man development studio's point-and-click adventure game that's coming to iOS and Android next year. Players will follow the tale of sell-professed cat lover and Star Trek fan Scott Whiskers as he embarks on an epic quest to find his cat, and, as the developer himself has stated, the game is "partly autobiographical".

Scott Whiskers in: the Search for Mr. Fumbleclaw offers fans of the genre the same cheeky humour that point-and-click games are often known for, along with plenty of challenging puzzles and amusing dialogue. Apart from the tongue-in-cheek approach, the game takes on a modernised 2.5D style, presenting players with a unique experience that features 2D hand-drawn backgrounds plus 3D characters.

While there aren't too many details surrounding the game just yet, it's already been in development for two years, and there's currently a Kickstarter campaign that's running to help fund the completion of the project. It will also offer support for touch inputs, mouse and keyboard, as well as gamepads.

It'll supposedly be launched not only on mobile but also on Windows, Mac, Linux, Xbox X/S, and the PlayStation 5, with a target release date of sometime in 2024. If you're eager to lend a hand and help support the game, you can do so over on the official Kickstarter page.

At the moment, you can learn more about Scott Whiskers in: the Search for Mr. Fumbleclaw on the official website, where you can browse through the artwork of the game to get a feel of its vibes.
