Savant - Ascent was announced back in the summer, by Owl Boy developer D-Pad Studio. It hit the App Store in November, but it arrived with some issues and was quickly removed from sale.
This made us very sad.
But now, finally, it is ready for us. For real this time. Savant - Ascent is available on the iOS and Android right now and in smooth, working order.
I've even checked a few times, just to make sure everything is as it should be. You have to check these things thoroughly, you know? Maybe one more check would do it...
As you can tell, it's sucked me in. Savant - Ascent is a fast-paced arcade shooter that involves guiding the magic missiles of a stylish magician as he fights robotic enemies.
It's a stunning game with highly detailed pixel art and smooth animations. It's also super charged with a dubstep soundtrack that adds to the energy.
The simple controls make it easy to jump into as well. Just aim the shots with your right thumb, and use your left thumb to grave health pickups out of the air, and to also dodge enemy attacks.
