Samurai II: Vengeance hitting non-Tegra Android devices soon

Samurai II: Vengeance has been slicing up Tegra-powered Android devices since February, leaving all other Android owners out in the cold.

Now, though, Czech developer Madfinger Games is bringing the game to non-Tegra Android handsets, including the Xperia Play.

This action slash-'em-up received a highly commendable Silver Award back when it debuted on iOS last October, with our Tracy saying, "it is among the best-looking games of the year and puts other action games to shame, including the original."

Samurai II: Vengeance could even be out for non-Tegra devices later today, though it's more likely to drop in the next few days as Madfinger resolves an .apk file upload issue.

Also hot off the press is news that the THD version of Samurai II: Vengeance is on sale for £1.77 / $2.89 from the Android Market and Tegra Zone.

This should tide us over while we wait for Madfinger’s excellent looking Gears of War-esque shooter Shadowgun, due for release sometime this year.
