Larger screen for upcoming Galaxy Note 3 hinted at in specs for Samsung's Galaxy S 4 Game Pad

Yesterday, Samsung officially unveiled its next-generation Galaxy S 4 smartphone alongside a Samsung-branded controller peripheral called the Game Pad (pictured below).

According to the Galaxy S 4 website, this Bluetooth-powered accessory will be compatible with other Samsung smartphones, too. In fact, it will work with all devices that boast a 4 to 6.3-inch display.

While this is hardly concrete proof that Samsung's forthcoming third-generation Galaxy Note device will pack a larger screen, many industry watchers are putting '6', '3', and '3' together right about now.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone has an already-pocket-busting 5.5-inch screen, which is - compared to the likes of the 4-inch screen on the iPhone 5 - bloody gigantic.

If the Galaxy Note 3 does indeed have a larger screen, it'll be truly encroaching on mini-tablet territory.
