Samsung's Galaxy Beam, the firm's extremely odd phone-with-a-mini-projector-inside, is now available to purchase in the UK for £389 unlocked via Expansys.

The Galaxy Beam was originally announced back at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February, and is a 3.7-inch, 720Mhz smartphone that runs Ice Cream Sandwich. We actually went hands-on with it during MWC - read all about it here.

While it may not be anywhere near the fastest handset on the market, it does come with its own 15 lumens projector built into the frame of the phone, allowing you to rather niftily 'beam' an image onto a nearby wall.

The Galaxy Beam comes with pre-installed software that allows you to effectively use the touchscreen as a pointer for presentations and the like. The handset also boasts a dedicated Beam button for quickly blinding unsuspecting burglars in a dark house.
