Samsung has announced that it's currently running a special limited time "Get Best Games for Free!" promotion for its Galaxy Android devices, which - unsurprisingly - allows you to download some great free games from Samsung Apps.

These games include Samurai II: Vengeance, Sprinkle, Riptide GP, and Trial Xtreme.

The promotion, which began on December 13th, is set to run for the next two months in the UK, US, India, France, Spain, and any other countries that have access to Samsung Apps. Basically, you have plenty of time to grab the 16 free titles on offer (full list below).

"We are pleased to offer our users a promotion which enables them to download popular apps, optimized to their Galaxy smart device, for free," Kang-Hyun Kwon, SVP of media solution center, Samsung Electronics, said.

Hand in your pocket

Alongside this special promotion, Samsung is hosting an "App Tournament Event" on its Samsung Apps Facebook page.

Head on over to the social network and you can win Samsung Smart TVs, Samsung Slate PCs, and a Galaxy Tab 10.1 by simply choosing your favourite application.
