SUPERHYPER is Folmer Kelly's attempt to make a twitchy action game that you can play with just one hand.

"Earlier today I was on the metro and there were no seats available, playing SUPERHYPER while holding onto the safety rail for dear life was freaking awesome," he tells me.

It's lo-fi and minimalist just as Super Hexagon is, and has the same fast pace and high difficulty.

However, it plays like Temple Run in that you swipe left and right to dodge holes in the platform you run along. You can also dash forward when required.

SUPERHYPER will have seven modes of play, with three of them being finite obstacle courses, and the other four being endless.

It's structured in the same way as Super Hexagon: survive each difficulty mode for 60 seconds to unlock its endless mode.

In the endless modes, the obstacles come at you randomly, as opposed to the normal modes in which they spawn exactly the same each time. The endless modes also have high scores.

The fourth endless mode is apparently the game's "ultimate test of skill" as it throws absolutely everything it has at you.

SUPERHYPER should hopefully be coming to iOS at the end of the month. Music will be provided by IsYourGuy.

It will also be coming to Android and PC at some point in the future.
