Rote is a super-tough puzzle game that's available right now for Android

Rote is a pretty frustrating Android puzzler. It's all about moving boxes, but from my experience it's also about swearing and crying and wringing your hands in despair as well.

You control a little ball and the only aim is to get from one side of the level to another. Of course, nothing is ever simple, and there are blocks in your way.

You can push these, but combinations of similarly coloured squares move at the same time. So a line of three red blocks, even if there's gaps between them, will all shift to the right when you barge into them.

The first level is pretty easy. The second level is a bit of a jerk. After that the tears start. Then the rolling on the floor in existential agony.

Okay, it might not be that bad, but it is pretty bad. Luckily there's a free version of Rote so you can try it out before you hurl some cash at a developer who clearly hates you and wishes you nothing but sadness.
