It belongs in a museum: Silver Award-winning Relic Rush now available on Google Play

Outside of some mid-90's ringtones, the worlds of chiptune and Indiana Jones have rarely come together so well as they do in Relic Rush.

The retro platformer impressed us earlier this year with its intuitive controls and expansive amount of content, but it only managed to rush its way onto the App Store.

Now, Crescent Moon Games has remedied that oversight by bringing the Silver Award-winning platformer to Google Play.

In terms of gameplay, Relic Rush is about as stripped down as a platformer can get.

Your intrepid, pixelated explorer will automatically dash through each level, jumping over pits and climbing ladders of his own accord. All that you need to do is tap the screen to stop him in his tracks.

The challenge in each of Relic Rush's 100+ levels comes from helping your explorer avoid the dangers of various aggressive animals that haunt the ruins he's rushing through.

This sounds easy enough but when slippery sheets of ice and snowball-chucking yetis enter the picture, the simple act of stopping soon becomes an art form.
