Re-Volt 2: Multiplayer steers competitive, F2P RC racing onto Android
Remote control
Free to play RC racer Re-Volt 2: Multiplayer has screeched its tiny tyres onto Android today.
It's hardly a secret as to what this latest reiteration of the classic PlayStation game adds to the series.
It's online multiplayer, of course - a feature that Re-Volt 2 lacked when it released last year.
Races allow for up to four human competitors racing alongside each other around the suburban streets. There's also a global Grand Prix with world records to beat.
But what about that new free to play design?
This edition of Re-Volt 2 has an energy system, adverts in every nook and cranny, and in-game gambling.
The problem that emerges, then, is that to be competitive in the multiplayer races you'll either need to pay up or do quite a bit of grinding in the single-player races.
If you can stick that kind of design then you can pick up Re-Volt 2: Multiplayer on Google Play right now. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere for your racing fix.
