It feels like a decade has passed since we first told you QWOP was heading to Android. (It hasn't.)

Finally, though, Android gamers have the chance to prove that they're just as bad at QWOP as everyone else in the world.

The game is all about running, which makes it sound simple. It's not, though. That's because the controls are determinedly, and deliberately, obtuse.

In the original Flash version of QWOP, you controlled your sprinter with the 'Q', 'W', 'O', and 'P' keys on your keyboard. Hence the name.

In this Android version, however, you use a diamond-shaped on-screen controller to move each of your athlete's legs.

The various different positions on the controller either extend or contract your leg. This makes for some hilarious accidents, as you try and lead your unlucky sprinter down the track to victory.

QWOP for 'droid contains Google Play game services support, so you can easily share your disastrous attempts with your friends.

Furthermore, QWOP boasts five different game modes, including 100m, Hurdles, and Long Jump. Good luck with that last one.

You can grab QWOP for Android right now from the Google Play Store for 62p.
