'Kingdom: New Lands' publisher's metroidvania Dandara is out now on iOS and Android and it looks stunning
Hopefully it'll be worth the price
Updated February 6th, 4:46 PM - Dandara is also available now on Android for £14.99/$14.99. Grab it on Google Play.
In case you haven't seen it already, Raw Fury's awesome-looking metroidvania Dandara is finally out on iOS, with Steam, Android, and Nintendo Switch releases coming later today.
Dandara is a silky smooth 2D platformer which takes place in a troubled world on the brink of collapse. It's up to the fierce heroine, Dandara, to help rescue the oppressed citizens of Salt.
You'll have tons to explore in this classic-style game and a lot of enemies to fight, so you'd better make sure you're ready to face them. Between taking on foes, traversing the tricky landscape, and solving puzzles, this won't be an easy ride.
Though I've yet to play the game, my one major hope for Dandara is that the framerates hold up, especially on mobile. From its trailer it looks wonderfully fluid and responsive, and I'm very excited about the lack of floating joysticks to control our protagonist.
Grab the game on the App Store now for £14.99/$14.99 if you fancy it. It's quite a steep price, particularly for a mobile game, but hopefully it'll be worth it. We'll be reviewing the game this week, so keep an eye out for that.
