Pokemon GO's field test begins in Japan, entire beta datamined in hours
Don't mined me
We knew a test field, Pokemon GO's regional beta testing program, was planned to start in Japan soon. But we didn't expect it to be this messy at launch.
While a lucky few received an invitation to test the app in Japan, the game is apparently not working, with the app refusing to launch.
This isn't out of the ordinary for a beta but it somehow echoes the fear we had that the game is simply not ready for a release any time soon.
It seems like some of it was playable at least as footage from the app emerged on YouTube:
On top of that, the beta has been datamined by a few members on Reddit and if you want to take a look at the list of objects, events, Pokemon and iAPs.
