Pokemon Go creator gets $20 million from Nintendo, Google, and The Pokemon Company
It's super effective
Pokémon Go is set to be one of the biggest mobile games ever. And it seems that Nintendo, Google, and The Pokémon Company think so too.
Those three companies just gave $20 million in funding to Niantic Labs - that's the company making Pokémon Go.
That money is to be used to continue support for Niantic's games. That includes its former hit, Ingress, which was made when the Niantic was part of Google.
Another $10 million in funds could be given to Niantic if it manages to reach certain milestones. What those milestones are hasn't been revealed.
Niantic has since branched off on its own since leaving Google. And with Pokémon Go it'll probably end up taking over the world. Especially with the support of those three huge companies.

Pokémon Go is due out for iOS and Android in 2016.
