As we come to the end of the year one game stands out more than others: Pokemon GO. Well, the results are in and it turns out that players have walked a hell of a way.

Since its release in July, Pokemon GO has been downloaded several hundred million times worldwide and now plays in over 100 countries. More impressively, altogether we've walked over 4.6 billion kilometers since its launch.

To put it in perspective for you - that's 200,000 trips around the world (it would take a commercial jetliner 1,000 years to do that apparently). Trainers have also caught 88 billion Pokemon - that's about 533 million a day, which is staggering.

You can't deny that the app has helped people get out and walk around more, so here's to the next five months.
