Eevee is an adorable Pokemon with more than a handful of evolutions and so much versatility it could be in a tier list of its own. It's not surprising that her eight eeveelutions (as the fans call them) each has a unique jist - some players prefer to collect Eevee Candy and aim for their desired evolution, while others wait for a certain day, use some interesting "naming tricks", or... simply go for it and hope for the best!
Today's article will give you a list of nicknames to evolve Eevee in Pokemon GO so you will know exactly what to expect, and how you can use those aforementioned naming tricks.
The eeveelutions
As you may already know, little adorable Eevee has eight evolutions. Each one has its own element, and its looks are also unique in depicting that. If you're not sure what these are, here's a list to help you out:- Vaporeon - #134 (Water)
- Jolteon - #135 (Electric)
- Flareon - #136 (Fire)
- Espeon - #196 (Psychic)
- Umbreon - #197 (Dark)
- Leafeon - #470 (Grass)
- Glaceon - #471 (Ice)

Out of all these eeveelutions, Jolteon and Flareon resemble Eevee the most visually.

You may already know about this trick, or you may not - regardless, it is something you should do in order to get one of each Eevee evolution with ease. The process is really, really simple. All you need to do is rename Eevee right before you evolve it, and that will dictate which eeveelution you will get. Here is the list of all the nicknames for Eevee in Pokemon GO:

**Important note**
For Sylveon (and arguably for the others too, depending on the situation), we recommend that you hold off on the evolution until you are around level 40 or 41. That is if you want to have an easier time reaching level 42. The requirements for reaching this level are pretty rough, and they include evolving Eevee into Sylveon and all the other forms.In order to evolve Eevee into Sylveon you have to collect 70 Hearts and the usual Eevee Candy, and even that way you will have the laborious task of obtaining every other Eevee evolution, so if used at the right time, this Eevee nicknaming trick should definitely come in handy.
