Grimsley and Liepard are available to scout in Pokemon Masters today and the Legendary Log-In event has also started

Following on from the most recent message to the players, Pokemon Masters has seen the arrival of a new Sync Pair to scout today, Grimsley and Liepard. It also sees the start of the Legendary Event and if you haven't logged onto the game recently you'll also be able to grab all the rewards from the Victory Points Rally.

Grimsley made his first appearance in Pokemon Black and White as a member of the Elite Four where he used various Dark-type Pokemon, including his partner for Pokemon Masters Liepard. As with all new Sync Pairs, there's a featured spotlight available where you'll have an increased chance to scout this duo, which will run from today until 19th December.

Liepard is a tech Pokemon with access to a few moves relating to critical attacks and stat changes. It has access to Night Slash which causes critical hits to land more easily and a move called All or Nothing! that will increase its critical chance, evasiveness at the cost of a lowered defence. Beyond that, she will also have an ability called Snatch that will return an opposing Pokemon's stats back to normal and increase Liepard's by that amount.

Beyond that, the Legendary Log-in bonus event has started today. This is part of the build-up to Giovanni and Mewtwo's arrival in the game. It's a pretty simple one to explain, if you log-in for 14 days between now and 19th December you'll get 300 Gems each time with a total of 4200 available

Finally, the Victory Point Rally bonus is now available after the community beat the target with ease. The items will be accessible through the present icon on the screen you see when in the Pokemon Center.

Pokemon Masters is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
