Pokemon Masters adds Elesa and Zebstrika to the game alongside a few new events

A whole host of new events have arrived in Pokemon Masters alongside a new sync pair. That new pair is Elesa and Zebstrika who we've been expecting following a recent datamine of the game. Beyond that, there's a new rally, event and EX challenge. The stuff you've come to expect with these updates at this point basically.

Originally appearing as a Gym Leader in the Unova region Elesa has arrived in Pokemon Masters with her electric Zebra. They're a 5-star sync pair and will have their own Spotlight Scout where you'll have an increased chance to grab the pair until 31st October

There'll also be an Electric-Type training event to coincide with Zebstrika's addition to the game. This event will see you taking on Siebold and Clawitzer who are of course weak to electric attacks, so it's a good opportunity to level your electric pairs. This will be available until 31st October.

There's also a new Rally that's focused on gaining materials for evolution to make compatible sync pairs more powerful. The mission for this rally can be accessed through the Events tab in the Explore menu.

Unlike most of the events that have been in the game so far this Rally won't entirely focus on battles, there's also a bit of rock smashing going along with much more story than the events usually provide, essentially playing out as one of the exploratory missions from the main campaign.

During this Rally period, which will take place between now and the 28th, you'll also gain additional login bonuses that grant greater bonuses than the standard login rewards. Each day you can expect to receive either 200 Gems, 20 Buff Blends or 20 Aid Ade. So a notable increase over the usual 50 Gems or levelling up books.

Finally, there's a new EX challenge where you'll be able to take on Pryce and his Seel. Managing to defeat him will earn you Electric Pins. To be able to face this tougher boss version though you will need to have completed the co-op mission Challenge Cheren & Hilda (Hard).

Pokemon Masters is available on both the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
