Pokemon Masters EX is celebrating its 3.5-year anniversary with three Master Sync Pairs and other rewards

During yesterday's Pokemon Day stream, DeNA announced plans for Pokemon Masters EX's 3.5-year celebration. It will bring new events, giveaways, a login bonus, and the debut of three Master Sync Pairs, meaning each possesses passive abilities that benefit the whole team.

All three of these new Champion variant Sync Pairs hail from Galar and are partnered with the regional variant of the legendary birds. Marnie will battle alongside Moltres, Hop with Zapdos, and Bede with Articuno. Each will have a separate Fair Scout, each with slightly different start dates. You can check those out below:

  • Marnie (Champion) & Moltres – Now until April 8th
  • Hop (Champion) & Zapdos – March 1st – April 8th
  • Bede (Champion) & Articuno – March 3rd – April 8th

Alongside the Fair Scouts, the three new Sync Pairs will appear in an in-game story called Neo Champions: Fight for the Future Together, which runs from today until March 24th. As the name implies, it sees these three characters competing in the second Neo Champion Battle.

There are also several other events currently underway in the game. Until March 17th, Leon & Charizard are available once again. Meanwhile, in the Meow Meow Meow! event, you can hatch eggs to obtain three different Meowth variants – Alolan, Kantonian, and Galarian – until March 14th. There is also a chance your new Meowth can be shiny.

Elsewhere, there's the opportunity to obtain up to 100 Sync Pairs by logging into the game daily between now and March 17th. Doing so will net you a 10-Pair Sync Ticket, which you can exchange for 10 Sync Pair scouts. It's worth remembering you need to use them before March 24th. Finally, by logging in before March 27th, you will receive 3000 Gems in your Present Box, while logging in a further three times will net you another 3000 Gems.

Pokemon Masters EX is available now on the App Store and Google Play. You can download it for your preferred platform using the links below. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
