Pokemon Masters' latest message to players discusses Pokemon Eggs, an upcoming Ho-Oh Legendary Event and Sync Orb plans

Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi's ninth message to the players of Pokemon Masters detailed a few upcoming changes that will be arriving in the game throughout April and May.

The first of the two updates that will be arriving in the game is Pokemon Eggs, which has been mentioned previously in the last message to players. The first round of eggs will feature the original Pokemon dilemma, allowing you to choose either Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle as a new partner for your player character.

They added that more Eggs will arrive in the future, the Kanto trio is merely the beginning of the new feature. They also included an image in the post, which you can see above, which has silhouettes of other potential Egg partners that includes Meowth, Tauros and Scyther.

The second of the two updates was the announcement of a Legendary Event that will feature Ho-Oh. The Rainbow Pokemon's debut will also mark the first appearance of a feature called the prize box. This will see players collecting prize coins from the event that will be spent to buy items and area info required to progress the event.

Joining the prize box is an item called a Reward Boost Ticket. This does exactly what you'd imagine, increases the rewards earned from any battle of your choosing. The last piece of info about the Ho-Oh event is that there will also be an item that will let you power up a 5-Star Strike Sync Pair that you can decide yourself.

The last item on the agenda was to discuss plans for Sync Orbs. Based on player feedback there will be three changes, arriving in late April, that will make obtaining Sync Orbs a little easier. The first is to remove the Sync Orb chance method that currently exists, removing the RNG grinding aspect that has irked players since orbs arrived on Pasio.

Beyond that, they will also add co-op Sync Orbs as rewards that can be obtained from supercourse and they will also increase the amount of you can earn from events. The changes will take place alongside the Ho-Oh Event when that starts later this month.

Pokemon Masters is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
