Improve Solgaleo and get some extra experience for your bugs

Pokemon Masters sees the return of the Solgaleo legendary event alongside a Bug-Type training event today

Last month Pokemon Masters held their first legendary event re-run by bringing back the Lurking Shadow, which centred around Mewtwo. Now, one month later, another is returning, The Beast That Devours the Sun. This will give players another opportunity to make their Solgaleo more powerful.

The returning event will run from today until 24th April and will see players completing various singleplayer and co-op battles to collect Custom Voucher 2 and Custom Super Voucher 2. Both of these can then be exchanged for items that will improve Solgaleo's strength.

In the co-op events, which are called 'Take Down Solgaleo!' accompanied by different round numbers to note the difficulty, the rewards you receive for beating them will be tripled once per day. If you want to tackle the co-op stages on your own then you can now, following an update to the game two weeks ago. There are some caveats to this, which we detailed in our post on this change.

Elsewhere in the world of Pokemon Masters, there's a Bug-Type training event, offering players boosted experience for their bug types by taking part in a series of battles. There will also be a host of missions to complete that will offer a mixture of Gems, Co-op Sync Orbs and Voucher U, which can be exchanged in the shop for training items.

Type-specific training events also mean new Sync Grind expansions and this time Viola & Surskitt – possibly Masquerain at this point – have received that treatment, giving the pair more build options. There will also be an opportunity to increase their Sync Move Strength by exchanging 200 Voucher U for them. This event will run until April 20th.

Pokemon Masters is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
