Pocket Gamer podcast nominated for Games Media Award
Go, Team PG!
We don't normally big ourselves up (mainly because public displays of emotion are outlawed in PG Towers after the uprising from the drones three years ago), but we're going to make an exception this time.
The Pocket Gamer podcast - which you may remember is hosted by the writer of this article - has been nominated for a Games Media Award in the Games Radio and Podcast category, which is rather spiffing.
It's up against some stiff competition from the likes of not one, but two BBC productions (Five Live's Game On and BBC Radio 1Xtra), as well as the multi-award-winning OneLifeLeft podcast and the banter-filled VideoGamer podcast.
Tweet thisFurthermore, our features editor Mark Brown has been nominated in the new Top Tweeter category (you can read his tweets by following @britishgaming - they're good). Hurrah!
You can see the full list of finalists for the Games Media Awards via the link below. Oh, and here's a link to the latest episode of our podcast for your listening pleasure.
Anyway, enough backslapping: I can feel the mood changing in the workers' quarters as I type... Oh, god, they've all stopped and are now staring at me - no! Get back! Get back!!
