PG's top moments of the week - Halloween horror games...
|

Every week, Pocket Gamer provides a weekly digest of the most important and popular stories from these digital pages.

It has not been a banner week for team PG, it must be said. Staffers were sick, out of office, and swanning about in Paris. And despite all this, game developers worldwide still chose to release loads of games. You heartless monsters.

What came out? Well, Surgeon Simulator is now on iPhone, Bullet Hell Infinite does exactly what it says on the tin, Drift & Drive is a retro oddity, and believe it or not but Kemco's made another JRPG.

You've also got a Star Wars tower defence game, a LittleBigPlanet endless runner, FedEx sim Lumo Deliveries, spooky sandbox game Haunt the House: Terrortown, spinny curio Twisty Hollow, and Kiloo's Smash Champs.

Woah Dave

But wait there's more! Like Woah Dave!, Vektor, Zombie Catchers, Warhammer 40k, and Icewind Dale.

Also, Android fans now get to sample old iOS games like Angry Birds Transformers, The Wolf Among Us, Battleheart Legacy, and Secret of Mana.

Elsewhere, we chose the seven coolest features in Android Lollipop, and picked 13 creepy horror games for Halloween which is too late at this point so please disregard this article and accept our apologies.

In handheld town, which is a real place look it up, we reviewed Shantae: Pirate's Curse on 3DS and Don't Die, Mr. Robot! on Vita.

Underworld Sugar

Plus, after its narcotics empire game Underworld: Drug Lords was rejected, developer A-Steroids found an INTERESTING way to get Apple's approval. And Plague Inc got a download boast for a SURPRISING reason.

Is this how you do click bait?

Also, The Longest Journey is coming to iOS, and Simogo's new game is out next week. So look forward to that I guess.

Around Steel Media

Head on over to AppSpy, because we've been eating loads of English Breakfasts, watching kids poop their pants in fear, playing the best new multiplayer indie racer, and getting spookier than that Michael Jackson video where he's a zombie (Thriller? Is it Thriller? I want to say it's called Thriller).

This week the team at 148Apps explored the mysteries of Toca Boo for kids, retried Retry about 10,000 times, and took Agents of Storm out for a spin. See it all right here.
