iOS + Android + 3DS ...

Every week, Pocket Gamer provides a weekly digest of the most important and popular stories from these digital pages.

This week has been a strange one. Half of us have been in Germany, hob-nobbing with the gaming elite at GDC and Gamescom.

The rest of us have been manning the news coal-face, hacking down some choice fact-nuggets with our journalism pick axes.

It was a pretty poor week for iOS releases, especially if you don't like ports of cult Japanese games. If you do you had Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies and Corpse Party to spend your shiny pennies on.

Elsewhere we quite liked stupidly hard car-chase sim PAKO, and thought Battle Group 2 should have tried a lot harder.

Android gamers got to get their hands on the really rather silly Bras and Balls, and also got to hack up some poor patients in the clearly-not-a-simulator Surgeon Simulator.

Stompy slashy action RPG Warhammer 40,000: Carnage got its price cut for the first time, which we thought was a good thing. Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile got its price cut as well, and we thought that was an awful, cynical, hateful thing.

In handheld world Nintendo announced a special shiny Super Smash Bros. 3DS bundle, and Sony revealed when the PS Vita TV is set to hit the UK.

Features-wise we took you by the hand and lead you through the gruesome, zombie filled streets of Curse of Naxxramas's Construct Quarter with a bunch of hints, tips, and tricks for the latest chunk of the Hearthstone expansion.

And we had a go at listing the 5 best Android real-time multiplayer games. There are some gems on there if you like shooting, golfing, or transforming.

If that wasn't enough we went hands-on with Activision's Clash of Clans-aping Call of Duty: Heroes. During our preview a man shouted at us, we shot some people with a helicopter-mounted gun, and became jaded about the entire games industry. A proper CoD game then.

We also got to have a long hard look at Goat Simulator for iOS and Android, and stumbled away with bemused looks on our faces.

This week at 148Apps, the powers that be saw fit to deem the latest Phoenix Wright release an Editor’s Choice winner. Plus, the review team took their best shots at WWE Supercard, PAKO, Godus, Dragon Quest IV, and more. Read all about it right here.
