ngmoco to launch Plus+ on Android
The network so nice they named it twice
Game developer ngmoco, creator of Rolando 2 and We Rule, has revealed that achievement and leaderboard service Plus+ will be soon available to gamers on the Android platform.
It comes from a job listing, where the company is looking for capable tech wizards who can help bring the Plus SDK to Android. Another ad is looking for people to test “new mobile games” for Google’s phone OS.
It’s not the first social service to spread its wings. Both iOS networks OpenFeint and Scoreloop have made leaps to the Android - the former even allows for cross-game multiplayer.
The move comes in the wake of Apple’s introduction of Game Center to iPhone and iPod touch (with iPad support in November). Game Center offers similar services, such as leaderboards, matchmaking, and achievements.
