The best iOS and Android updates this week - PUBG, Fortnite, Clash Royale, and more

It's been a busy time for updates this week, especially as a few of our ultimate favourite competitive games tweak their content. From new modes, events, levels, courses, and more.

I mean, it's hard to take games we love and make them even better, but alas here we are.

Airport City

Phew, after a volcano started erupting near your city it's time to get stuck into the Age of Ash. Send your planes on volcanic journeys, build a couple of institutes, get your own Jumbo Ranger, and use that volcano for your own devices.

Clash Royale

Yes, Clan Wars and its accompanying update is finally here. Head up against Clans from around the world, earn War Chests, win the fight to get Clan Trophies and climb the leaderboard, and discover a brand new island. Oo er!

Crazy Kitchen

I don't know about you, but I just got a huge craving for doughnuts, or maybe that's just from talk of stick surprises in this latest update. Enjoy 20 delicious new levels at the Leafy Lawn.

Dumb Ways to Die 3

This update's a little slow moving onto Android, but you've got new mini games to mess around with, new idols in Pyramid Run, two new beans to discover in AR, and a Monday Madness event, too.

Fighting Fantasy Classics

For the first time ever, Ian Livingstone's Deathtrap Dungeon joins the Fighting Fantasy library. Oh yes, it's time to head into Baron Sukumvit's deadly labyrinth.

Fortnite

I know, it's barely been a week since the last update but here we are with a new fire button and sticky grenades, phwoar. Read about more details right here.

Gear.Club

It feels like a while since we've seen Gear.Club in this list, but this week we've got three more tracks and three more cars. Better still, if you get the best time in one race by May 15th, you'll be flown to England in real life to race real cars about.

Homescapes

This is a rather curious mix for this latest Homescapes update as you're flying paper planes and competing against other players. Plus, you get to help a cat bring flowers to the love of its life, so you can feel all of the fuzzy feelings.

PUBG Mobile

We've been waiting for this one for a while, but PUBG finally got its arcade mode. This lets you muck about with 28 players and one specific gun to have a ton of fun. Read the a more detailed account right here.

Quote Codes

I guess it wouldn't be much of a quotes game if it didn't push out an update for one of this year's biggest films - Avengers: Infinity War. Yep, Quote Codes has Marvel fever. How many will you know?

The Sims FreePlay

Sometimes it's fun to be childish, and this week you have everything you need to throw the ultimate kids' party. Unlock colourful tables and cool decoration, create an absolutely brilliant bash, and win the grand prize.

World of Warships Blitz

There's a new Fleet to get to grips with as you'll gather oil, upgrade your fleet, and pick up some tasty rewards as you go. You've also got a 60 FPS mode for those silky smooth frames, an increased Silver income, and more.
