Pascal's Wager introduces haptic feedback into combat and cutscenes alike for iOS players in its latest update
After releasing a pretty significant content DLC recently, Pascal’s Wager has turned to implementing some smaller touches with its latest update, which introduces haptic feedback support for cutscenes, combat, and even smaller little in-game scenes too. It’s a simple addition, but one that makes the already great action RPG that much more engaging and immersive.
Pascal’s Wager is a pretty darn successful little 3D action game that saw a lot of popularity when it launched way back when. Putting players in a grimdark fantasy world full of various monsters and villains intent on ending your life, it lets you wield a variety of weapons as you traverse this dangerous world and put ‘em all down with your skills and reflexes.
Now, with this update, that combat has gotten that much more intense with the addition of Richtap haptic feedback, making your phone vibrate and jostle with each strike, dodge, and the like. It’s a pretty cool implementation that is rarely seen to this rich degree in just about any game, and I’d recommend jumping back into Pascal’s Wager if you haven’t to try it out just to see what it’s like.
With the previous expansive DLC launching earlier last year - which introduced an entire new playable character for only $1.99, and a ton of other free post-launch content - support for Pascal’s Wager seems intent on continuing on despite the game being a decent age at this point. So, why not check it out for yourself and get involved before even more cool features are added?
