Paragon Infinite is a late Flappy Jam entry for iOS and Android as tough as it is addictive

Better late than never, Bipolar Design has released its Flappy Jam entry Paragon Infinite onto iOS and Android.

More than just a Flappy Bird clone put together in five minutes, Paragon Infinite is an endless runner re-design of Bipolar's PC game Paragon.

The central mechanic in both games is operated by a single tap (or click) but is steeped in a need for acute timing.

It involves a ball that travels up and down along a pole. Your tap flings the ball outwards from the pole in the direction it was travelling in. This allows for timing-based action puzzles.

The difference in Paragon Infinite is that there's a laser wall chasing you from the left side of the screen. This means you have to be fast and accurate as you shoot it through holes in an endless series of walls.

It's as tough as you'd expect from a Flappy Jam game. But it might be more polished than anticipated. Of course, it's as addictive as you'd hope.

You can download Paragon Infinite for free on the App Store [download], Google Play [download].

If you want to unlock the full game you'll have to purchase it as a 69p / 99c IAP. It gives you more modes, backgrounds and difficulty levels to mix and match.

You can also purchase Paragon Infinite for 69p / 99c on the Amazon App Store [buy].
