Having taken over Facebook with 4 million daily players, physics-based puzzler Papa Pear Saga is now bouncing across to the App Store and Google Play.

This is, essentially, the Candy Crush Saga developer's take on Peggle. So don't expect to have many spare hours after this one drops.

The idea is to shoot Papa Pear from a cannon at the top of the screen so that he hits as many carrots, acorns, chillies, and other sundries as possible on the way down, before landing in the bucket at the bottom.

The mobile version of Papa Pear Saga will launch with 120 levels and players will have consistent leaderboards, scores, and progress across all versions of the game.

As expected from King's Saga titles, this is a free game that uses IAPs for some in-game items like extra moves and lives.

If you reside in Canada then you can already pick up Papa Pear Saga for free on the App Store. The rest of the world will have to wait for it to arrive "soon".
