The original article states that the iOS version will change to free to play.

According to developer TreeMenGames, this is incorrect.

Pako will remain £1.49 / $1.99 on iOS, but it will be receiving three new levels and a couple extra features this year as a free update.

Original story follows...

Pako is an out of control car chase simulator that tasks you with staying alive and on the road for as long as possible.

Without brakes. While being pursued by the police.

Originally released for iOS on August 14th, the Bronze Award-winning Pako is now headed to Android this Thursday, October 23rd.

Our review from August gave the original iOS version a Bronze Award, praising it as a "brash, good looking arcade game" that excels in its "short, sharp, angry" approach to arcade racing.

Whether by sports car, motorized rickshaw, or limousine, out-driving your pursuers won't be an easy ride. Read our full review of the game here.

Pako will be available free on Google Play this Thursday, with a 69p / 99c option to remove ads.

The iOS version will also be going free to play, according to DroidGamers.
