PUBG Mobile has confirmed the dates for its upcoming tournament in Europe, PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) Western Europe. The competition is set to begin on May 17th with a total prize pool of US $150,000. Pro teams from Europe, the Middle East and Africa will participate.

Tencent had previously stated that its team is currently focussing on expanding its tournament’s regions. The publisher plans to reach each and every corner to uncover talent and feature them on the world stage.

Regarding the upcoming PMPL Western Europe’s Season 1, it is planned to take place over four weeks. And to make it even more competitive, the best 20 teams from PMCO Germany, PMCO France, PMCO UK, and a few selected PMCO European wildcards will be taking part in it.

The first season will commence from May 17th to June 12th, 2021. During the four weeks, the first three are kept for the league portion of the tourney with the fourth week dedicated to the finals.

The top 3 teams who manage to best the others in the PMPL Western Europe Season 1 will advance to the PMPL EMEA Championship that will run from June 17th to June 20th.

The EMEA Championship is a four-day long tournament that will the put best teams against one another to compete with the best teams from other PMPL’s in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the final title of the tourney.

The PUBG Mobile’s team is ensuring that all the criteria are fulfilled during the entire tournament and things go according to the plan and schedule. Also, PUBG Mobile Pro League’s Season 1 & 2 is proudly sponsored by OnePlus.

This very tournament is one of the parts of the PUBG MOBILE Esports ecosystem in Western Europe in 2021. Along with the establishment of the PUBG MOBILE Club Open, Tencent promises to bring in more exciting tournaments with massive prize money throughout 2021.
