Huge $600,000 prize pool announced for PUBG Mobile tournament

Big news for players of PUBG Mobile, as it was recently announced that the game will be hosting a huge tournament very soon.
The Star Challenge Championship Series will see teams from six regions duking it out for their piece of a $600,000 prize pool. It aims to bring celebrities, internet influencers, and pro gamers together for what is sure to be an action-packed tournament.
The regions will be Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Japan/Korea, and China. The top 20 teams from each of these six regions will go through to the qualifier rounds, with the finals set to take place in Dubai later this year.
Applications to take part have sadly closed, but it was specified that applicants had to either enter as a team of three, or they could opt to enter by themselves but only if they had over 1,000 fans or followers across streaming platforms.
Regional and global winners will split the $600,000 as follows:
· Global Final Champion: $200,000 USD
· Runner-up: $100,000 USD
· 3rd Place: $50,000 USD
· Regional Final Champion: $20,000 USD
· Regional Runner-up: $15,000 USD
· 3rd Place: $10,000 USD
But that’s not all. In addition to the cash, winners will also become official PUBG Mobile partnered content creators. Long story short, they'll be given access to promotional material that could aid them in streaming PUBG Mobile.
