Good morning, afternoon, or evening wherever you are, friends. From Trigger Heroes through Old School RuneScape, and more, there's a fair bit to sink into over the coming days.

Why? Well, because the weekend is so close we can practically taste it, which means there's plenty of time for gaming. Have a look at our list to see if there's anything you fancy, but don't feel too bummed out if not.

1
Farabel

Sometimes you can begin at the end of a story and it makes perfect sense. In the turn-based strategy game, Farabel, you start off at maximum power, however it's not too long before things start going Benjamin Button on you. The more you step into the past, the weaker you'll become as the game grows more complex. Confused? I'm sure you'll grasp the idea while you play it.

Legend: Rising Empire

NetEase is back again with another offering of strategic combat and style, with a good dash of city-builder popped in for good measure. I say 'measure', the whole thing is about acting like a lord and conquering the territory of Favilla. Build up your city past a certain amount, choose your faction, and take down/fight off the opposition.

Love Letter

You might have caught our stream of the game last week, but Love Letter has you battle against other suitors to deliver your love letter to a beautiful princess. On paper, that sounds pretty easy, but the girl's shut herself away in the palace, meaning you've got to find your own way to her and fast. Use the castle's inhabitants to your benefit and think strategically in this card game.

4
Mad Rocket: Fog of War

Mad Rocket: Fog of War isn't like your usual strategy game. With the whole enemy base under a dark fog, you need to come up with a different plan altogether to get the jump on your foes. Build up your base, test out your plans, get awesome weapons, and maybe team up with another clan if you fancy it. You might even be able to use the fog to your own advantage.

Old School RuneScape

It's been heading toward worldwide release for months and now it's finally here. Hop online and experience the classic feel of RuneScape on a more portable device. Take part in quests, learn tons of skills, and enjoy continuous gameplay from PC to mobile thanks to cross-platform play. Whatever you want to do and whoever you want to be, the world is yours to explore. Be nice to the other kids, though.

Survival City

Fortify your safe zone and survive masses of flesh-hungry zombies in this newly released base-builder. During the day you need to get as much done as possible before night falls and terror truly ensues. I got shivers at the thought, ugh.

Trigger Heroes

Lucky Kat's graced us with another awesome action game, this time full of anthropomorphic characters shooting big guns at each other. In it, you need to help out Red as he tries to win back his home planet, Orbitus, from Shogun Inc. This isn't just a shooter, it's also got roguelike elements, meaning the characters who make it through to the end will depend entirely on you. Simple controls, nice graphics, knowing Lucky Kat it'll be a cool soundtrack too, so don't hesitate to give this one a go.
