If you're looking for an Android puzzle game that will help you improve the performance of your brain, mToy's Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle might just be the app for you.

In this tangram-style puzzler, you have to put together small blocks of various shapes and sizes in order to create a single larger shape and complete each puzzle.

You can play through a whopping 4,000 unique puzzles in Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle without putting your hand in your pocket, though you can purchase an extra 2,000 brainteasers if you're completely hooked on the game.

We recently got a chance to chat with mToy's Adrian Walis about Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle and what separates it from other similar games on Google Play.

Pocket Gamer: What games (if any) served as inspiration for Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle?

Adrian Walis: Oh, My Brian! Block Puzzle was inspired by tangram puzzles and popular puzzle games like Tetris and Phit. At its most basic, Oh, My Brian! Block Puzzle is like a puzzle version of Tetris.

What do you think sets Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle apart from the other puzzle games on Google Play?

The puzzles in Oh, My Brian! Block Puzzle will 'train' your brain and even improve your spatial skills. That being said, these puzzles are easy to play and can be completed by gamers of all ages.

Every time you complete a puzzle, you'll find yourself saying "just one more time" and playing for hours.

Of which part of Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle are you personally the most proud, and why?

The levels are the most important part of our game.

There are over 1,000 different shapes (made up of two to seven blocks) and thousands of unique single-solution levels in Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle.

You never feel like the levels are being repeated.

Do you plan to extend the life of Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle with updates? If so, what content do you have planned?

Yes, I plan to release a new level pack in the near future.

Do you plan to release Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle on any other platforms?

I'm afraid I don't plan to release Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle on any other platforms in the near future.

Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle is free to download, but players can purchase additional puzzles via an in-app purchase. Why did you choose this payment model? Did you consider any other payment models during development?

The free-to-play with in-app purchases model is very popular at the moment, so I didn't consider any other payment models during development.

How long would you expect it to take the average player to complete all 4,000 of the free puzzles on offer?

You can solve the easier levels within minutes or sometimes even seconds. The harder puzzles, meanwhile, can take days or even weeks to complete.

I've already received emails along the lines of, "I was trying to solve this level for two weeks. I thought it was impossible. My friends and whole family also tried. Finally, I did it. I feel like a hero."

I think an average gamer will need several months to complete all 4,000 free levels.

Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle has an in-built hint system. Do players have access to an unlimited number of hints or must they earn them throughout play? What does a player have to do to earn hints?

In order to earn hints, players have to buy them via in-app purchases.

You can grab Oh, My Brain! Block Puzzle from Google Play for free [download].
