Clock Tower creator Hifumi Kono has released a creepy teaser trailer for his upcoming horror game, NightCry.
The trailer is live action and doesn't show any game footage. But this teaser, directed by Ju-on: The Grudge filmmaker Takashi Shimizu, certainly sets the tone. Shimuza will also serve as creative producer on NightCry.
What we do know is that the game will take place on a luxury cruise-liner where passengers are being killed off, one by one. You'll have to solve the mystery while adrift on the ocean. And try to avoid being murdered yourself.
The game's under development at the studio Nude Maker, which is also my nickname.
The game's coming to iOS, Android, and PlayStation Vita. If it's a point-and-click style game like Clock Tower then it will work rather nicely on touchscreen devices.
