Nexomon is a monster-catching RPG with a heck of a lot going on, coming early 2017

Have you been caught up in the continuous Pokemon craze this year? From Pokemon GO to Pokemon Sun and Moon, we can't get enough of it, and neither can the apps inspired by the monster-catching franchise. However, Nexomon is supremely charming where others tend to fall short.

Nexomon is a Micromon-inspired RPG about capturing monsters - sound familiar? In the game you can catch, train, and evolve over 300 of these colourful beasts while experiencing your own epic adventure across a huge world. I'm not kidding. The world consists of ten regions, spanning through jungles, volcanoes, beaches, and more.

Just to address the comments that will spring from this, yes it's an awful lot like the aforementioned games but do we really care? It's pretty, it looks fun, and you can tell that a lot of work has been put into making it super sharp. So hopefully Nexomon can stand on its own legs come release day, and not have to rely on being 'that game that's kinda like Pokemon'.

According to the game's forum, Nexomon should be coming to mobile early next year, but we'll keep you updated.
