Need for Speed: No Limits - the game with various limits - soft launches on Android
Push it to the, oh no I'm out of fuel
EA's next Need for Speed game is coming exclusively to mobile, sometime this year. It's already available for beta testing on iOS, and now Android users in Taiwan and The Netherlands can try it too.
This game is free to play and, ironically for the name, limits you to a handful of races before you run out of gas and have to wait or pay to top up your fuel tank.
When you actually do get to drive, you'll race through rush-hour traffic in Time Trial, Car Delivery, and Duel modes, as you work your way up the street racing career ladder.
You can drive real-world cars, and use "the most advanced customisation system on mobile" (says EA) to make a car with over 250 million combinations of parts which sounds like a limit to me, am I right? I was promised zero limits.
If you want to know how it plays, check out our hands-on video of the iOS version, above. And if you do manage to get this soft-launched version on your device, note that it's entirely in Dutch.
We'll let you know when this one's out worldwide. And in English.
