NFL Clash's latest update introduces a timeout button, improved controls, and new overtime rules

Nifty Games has announced that its Sports title, NFL Clash, has received a major update that introduces several gameplay changes that will hopefully provide a more enjoyable experience. On top of that, there are also several events to look forward to as the festive season approaches with several prizes up for grabs.

With the latest update, you can now call for a timeout during a head-to-head game. To do so, you simply have to tap the appropriately labelled Timeout button located beneath your username in the top right. There are also new overtime rules in place to find a winner whenever the match is tied. They range from restricting you to only one possession to completely removing the overtime clock.

Finally, the update promises improvement control over your team by adding the ability to move receivers during passing players. On top of that, you will now be set to move one player at a time. The developer has released a new video to coincide with the update that explains how to use the new mechanics. You can check that out below.

As mentioned, two limited-time events on the horizon let you play against some recognisable NFL talent in clash-style 1v1 matches in a bid to win prizes. The first takes place from December 21st to 28th and sees Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’davious White face off against Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The second runs from December 21st to January 4th and will feature Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Shaquill Barrett.

NFL Clash is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
